Anket & O.O.
Jeremy slept 13 hours last night. He only woke up at nearly 8 this morning. Of course he woke up at around 4:30 AM and only went back to sleep after an hour. Even at 8 this morning, he wanted to continue sleeping while nursing. So, yesterday evening and this morning he didn't get to play with Jason.

But he woke up a few times last night screaming though - sometimes saying things that we understand but didn't make sense at that moment - like ‘down', ‘go', etc. He must have been dreaming about the day's events.

Early morning, he woke up saying ‘anket anket'. I thought he was sleep talking again. So I ignored him at first. Then I thought maybe he was saying ‘blanket blanket'. So, I put a blanket on him and he stopped fussing. Maybe he was feeling a little cold.

When he was playing with his train set in the library, I played a classical CD on the CD player. One of the songs he has heard on his Baby Einstein DVD before, so he said ‘baby stein'. He wanted me to put on his Baby Einstain DVD on. By fluke, I put on the one with the same song playing on the CD player. He was so happy. He kept on going back and forth from the living room to the library while pointing at the TV and the CD player. He must be saying the songs were the same. Earlier, he saw the DVD logo on TV and he kept on pointing at it. The he pointed to the same logo on the DVD player. He must has been saying that the logos were the same. He just wasn't able to verbalise what he meant yet.

In the afternoon, I was outside putting our bedsheet and pillow cases to dry. Jeremy was in the living room watching Barney. When I came back in, he took a peek at me and said ‘o.o.' I went into the living room and saw his poop on the floor.

I'm a little teapot, short and shout
This is my handle, this is my spout.
When I get all steamed up, hear me shout
Tip me over, and pour me out.

Jeremy knows the action to the above nursery rhymes. He learned it from the Reader Rabbit program. He's so cute when he does the action.

Swimming at Waterworld
He woke up screaming and crying a few times last night. Expected since he had so much fun during the day - what will all the laughing and such.

We went to Waterworld at Bukit Padang today. Jeremy and Jason went in first. Jason had brought Jeremy down the slide and once they were in the pool, Jeremy said ‘again again'. So, I went on the slide with Jeremy. Off the slide, we went underwater. Jeremy panicked a bit and didn't want to go on the slide anymore. Fortunately, he didn't cry and still wanted to be in the pool.

At the children (under 12) slide, adult were not allowed to accompany the child down the slide. So, Jason let go of Jeremy while I waited at the bottom of the slide. Jeremy didn't come down gracefully. He panicked and started going sideways. His face bumped into my tummy. But he still wanted to play in the water after that, just not down the slide. He had fun there. We ended up spending almost one and a half hour in the water.

LL at first didn't want to go into the water. So, Karen and Aloy let him take his own sweet time. In the end, he ventured out further into the pool himself. Jason and Aloy went on the adult spiraling slides and ended up getting dizzy. AdAd had fun too, he loved being in the water. Nenek had an appointment at QEH, so she only arrived once we were out of the water and we ate light lunch together at Waterworld.

It was almost 2 PM when we left. Jeremy fell asleep on the way home. He woke up when I wiped his body with a wet towel and when I cleaned his teeth. He didn't want to go back to sleep again. So, I let him play with LL and AdAd until they left. He cried when they left, not because he didn't want them to leave but because he wanted to get into the Land Cruiser.

After everyone left, I gave Jeremy his bath, dinner, spirulina and multivitamins. I brushed his teeth and change him into his pajamas. Then I let him nurse, not five minutes he was already fast asleep - at 6 PM. Poor baby, he must have been so tired from all the activities today.

Nenek is here
In the afternoon, after his lunch I let Jeremy play outside. Since he wanted to play with the water, I filled in the green big basin with water. Then he pointed to the feng shui plant while saying something. I didn't understand what he wanted. He went to the plant and pointed to the red ribbon. Ohhh... he wanted a red ribbon. He still remembered the red ribbon that he played with during CNY. So, I took the red ribbon from the basket and gave it to him. Then he said ‘tortoise'. I went up to the bathroom upstairs to get his tortoise, fish and starfish. Then he was ready to go into the water. Once he was in, he said ‘cod cod'. He was telling me that the water is cold. Hehe.

I let him play for about half-an-hour. It took quite sometimes to convince him to get out of the water. At first, I told him that I will take him out in a few minutes. He said ‘OK'. When I went to him, he said ‘no'. So I told him that it was time for him to rest so that he will have plenty of energy when Nenek arrives in the evening. That got him to get out without much fuss.

He didn't sleep very long though - a little bit less then 2 hours. Usually, when he wakes up, he doesn't want to go out right away. He wants to stay in bed and nurse. This time though, the moment he woke up he said ‘down down'. So, we went down. He drank his milk. And not long after, Nenek arrived with Aunt Karen, LL & AdAd.

We had dinner at Lintas. While waiting for the food, we went into a clothes and shoes shop nearby. When Jeremy saw me looking at some shoes, he wanted to wear the shoes. After we had dinner, we went into the same shop again. This time the sales girls played with Jeremy. They tried to block Jeremy from going to Nenek. Somehow he managed to slip through them. He also let them carry him. When he wasn't playing with the girls, he was running around the shop with LL chasing him. Both of them laughing. They had so much fun.

After dinner, we brought them to City Mall. On the way there, Jeremy found a way to entertain both him and LL - accidentally. He ‘drove' his yellow car on the headrest of the driver's seat. He would drop the car behind Jason's head. The first time it happened, LL laughed which caused Jeremy to laugh. So, Jeremy kept on doing it - both of them laughing like crazy when the car fell.

Earlier at home, Jeremy was playing with the engine in such a way that LL found it funny. So, LL laughed. When Jeremy saw LL laughed, he laughed. When I saw Jeremy laughed, I had to laugh. The whole sequence of event was so funny to me.

Haircut & peeling off keyboard keys

I gave Jeremy a haircut today with Jason's help. Jeremy didn't want to sit in his high chair, so I got Jason to carry him while I went around them to cut Jeremy's hair. In the end, all of us were covered with hair. The good news is his haircut doesn't too bad.

Oh yeah, he peeled off some of Jason's laptop's keyboard keys this afternoon. Jeremy was in the computer room watching something on Jason's laptop. Jason was fixing the water pump. I was in the living room checking something on the TV when I heard weird sounds coming from the computer room. When I went to check on him, my heart dropped to the floor. My blood must have drained out completely from my face when I saw the keys on the table and on the floor. Fortunately, the keys could be put back on the keyboard. Phew!

Not sleeping well & teething
Jeremy hasn't been sleeping well the last few nights. Since he's been drooling so much, we are quite sure he's teething. Yesterday, I bought Bonjela - to be applied to his gum - which soothed him a bit. We also gave him ibuprofen before bedtime to lessen the pain a little. The medications helped him to get better sleep. I also need to blend his meal so he can just swallow it without having to chew. Everytime he tried to chew, he would end up saying ‘aw aw' and refuse to take another spoon.

We didn't go to church today because I was very sure Jeremy would be grumpy and moody due to the lack of sleep. We spent the day at home.

Then in the evening, we went out to Home & Garden and Tong Hing. At Home & Garden, played with the small electric ovens, the potties and the strollers. He also pooped, so I had to clean and change him before we went to Tong Hing. He was so obedient during the cleaning and changing. I was quite surprised.

At Tong Hing, he wanted to touch and open everything that interests him at the kitchenware section - the flasks, the containers, the books, the shampoos, the shelves, the drawers, etc. At the grocery section, he saw some children pushing small trolleys and he wanted one. But all the small trolleys were already taken. So we got him to push the big one. Later on, we found a small trolley and he was so happy pushing it around. He didn't want Jason or I to help him push it.

Kai kai to City Mall
Harvest Festival today but since our company follows KL holiday, we still had to go to work. Tracy took care of Jeremy.

After dinner we went to the newly opened shopping centre in town, City Mall, located along Kolombong-Lintas Highway.

At first, Jeremy said ‘no' when we asked him if he want to go kai kai. He was busy watching a Reader Rabbit program on the laptop. Once we got there though, a different story. While we were in Giant, Jeremy stumbled upon the playground display set. He got stuck there. Down the slide, up the ladder, on the swing set. He was having a blast. Jason stayed with him while Tracy and I did our shopping. When we were done and went back to them, Jeremy was still busy playing. He screamed when we took him away. So, we told him he could go on the swing one last time. He did and when we took him away, he didn't complain.

Later on, we went to the bookstore. Jeremy saw a musical book there that was very similar to the Lullaby musical book Nana sent from England. Once he got hold of one, he didn't want to let go. He kept on playing the songs, which were all familiar to him. Fortunately, we were able to put back the book without much complaint from Jeremy.

LL came for a brief visit
Jason went golfing with Raymond today. No problem saying goodbye and hugging Daddy. But when Jeremy saw his Daddy got into Raymond car, he cried. He wanted to follow. At least didn't take him long to stop crying.

Nenek, Aunt Karen and LL came for a short visit late in the afternoon. Tracy said the boys were okay. They didn't fight. And Jeremy let LL play with the train set.

Aunt Sue & Colysie came by for a visit
Aunt Sue and Colysie along with Colysie's cousin came over for a social visit. They were here for about 1½ hours. Jeremy was neutral. He wasn't deligted but he wasn't upset either. When he felt like it, he would come over to the library and play a bit. Or he would be sitting in the living room watching his Pooh movie.

He was a little possessive with his golf set though. But he didn't just grab the clubs from the girls. He was quite polite actually. When he got hold of the clubs, he put them into his Daddy's golf bag. Jason would have brought the toy clubs with him to golfing the next day if he didn't notice them. Hehe.

Due to the visit, Jeremy went to bed later than usual, after 9:30 PM. But he didn't fight when I changed him into his pyjamas. He eventually fell asleep at 10:10 PM.

Swimming
All three of us went swimming today. We played a game where one of us would dive into the water and swim toward Jeremy under water. Jeremy would splash around screaming when I or Jason approached him. Jeremy would also try to dive in but only up to his mouth. So much fun for all of us.

Eason's full moon celebration
Again, Jeremy sat on the front seat to/from church today. He was a bit naughty in church today. At first he didn't want to stay in Sabbath School, but in the end I managed to get him to stay.

Then once we were in the main church, he wanted to go back to ‘baby class'. Baby class is Sabbath School, so Jeremy can understand and say it easily. I said no. He asked for ‘mama room'. I told him later. Once I brought him out, I carried him. I told him I didn't want him to run around. Then we went back in again. After a while, he was getting grumpy and Jason brought him out for a while. At around 11:30 AM, I brought him into the ‘mama room' for his lunch.

He did eat his lunch. But toward the end, he ran around chasing a girl who he made friend with a few Sabbath ago.

In the evening, we attended a full moon celebration for Jason's colleague's son. While waiting for the rest of the guests, Jeremy and I walked around the premise - up and down the stairs as well. During dinner, he saw fried noodles and asked for some.

A little boy, another of Jason's colleague's son, came over to shake hands with Jeremy. Jeremy didn't want to shake hand with him. He hid his face even. The boy was about the same age as Jeremy. But when the sister extended her hand, Jeremy shook hand with the sister. Weird boy.
